Sharon Corn Reinard, 73, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Born in St. Joseph, MO, Sharon was the daughter of the late John and Annalee (Hill) Corn.

Sharon was a teacher for the Downingtown Area School District for over 30 years. Many of those years as the Title 1 Reading Specialist and then as a 4th grade teacher at Beaver Creek Elementary. Her Beaver Creek Family meant so much to her as well as all of the students that she had the joy of teaching through the years. Her passion for teaching was apparent in all that she did. When not in the classroom her favorite past times included gardening, particularly strawberries and perennials, reading and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Sharon was a member of the Junior Century Club of Coatesville, Pennsylvania where she enjoyed participating in various community programs. She also enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of a bridge club for many years. For the past 7 years she lived at The Heritage of Green Hills, Reading, where she met many wonderful people and enjoyed having dinner with the ladies. 

Sharon is survived by her daughter: Kim Reinard-Immersi, wife of Dominick Immersi II, of Morgantown; grandchildren: Courtney Poluch, Hailey Poluch, Dominick Joseph (DJ) Immersi III, and Lily Grace Immersi; her twin sister: Karen Patterson and brother: John Corn.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
