Sandra Carpenter Zynn (77) passed away on 1/24/2018 at her home. Sandy was the wife of Robert A. Zynn Sr. who passed away in January, 2012, and with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.
                Born in Coastesville Pa., she was the daughter of the late Park H Carpenter and May Russell Carpenter.
She graduated from Scott High School, class of 1961 and worked as a secretary for Autocar Trucks then went on to sales for Ducthmaid Family Fashions, Moore’s Furniture, Strawbridge & Clothier, and retired from BJ’s Whole Sale Club after 17 years.
                She was a member of the E. Brandywine Baptist Church and attended the First Baptist Church of Key Largo, FL in the winter time. Also a member of
E. Brandywine Zoning Hearing Board for 26 years and life time member of the E. Brandywine Fire Company.
                For many years she enjoyed bowling and bowled in state and national tournaments, she also enjoyed selling antiques, going to auctions, gardening, traveling, and spending the winters in FL and eating out with her friends.
                She is survived by her son Robert A. Zynn Jr. and wife Kelly Ann of Downingtown, daughter Kimberly Jefferis and husband Daniel of Glenmoore, brothers Walter H. Carpenter and wife Tammy, of Leola, PA and Andrew Widman and wife Roni of Lancaster PA. Three granddaughters Rachel, Anna and Caitlin.
               A memorial service will be held at Stone Croft, Tel Hai Saturday, February 3. The family will be receiving guests from 9:30 am to 10:45 am with a service at 11:00 am.
