Ruth Ann McQuillan

Ruth Ann McQuillan, nee Erdman, 66, of Elverson, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel D. McQuillan who passed away in 2005.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Donald G. and Doris Clay Erdman.

Ruth Ann worked for H.S. Crocker Company in Lionville before her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved listening to Blue Grass music. She enjoyed traveling to Long Beach Island and collecting Boyd’s Bears. 

She is survived by her brothers, Donald G. Erdman, Jr. and his wife, Susan M. and Raymond A. Erdman and his wife Deborah A. Ruth Ann is also survived by a sister in law, Pamela Kelch; and her nieces and nephews, Josh Stabler, Robert Carl, Megan E. Erdman, Raymond A. Erdman, Jr. and Daniel A. Erdman. She was predeceased by a nephew, Adam C. Erdman.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. 

Interment will be private with the family.
