Ruth Joy Kent

Ruth Joy Martin Kent, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at home.
Joy was born in Highland Park, Michigan and was the daughter of Frank and Margherita Martin.
A graduate of University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design, Joy was an avid artist.
Joy was a member of the bridge and women’s clubs. She enjoyed painting, playing solitaire and annual visits to her beloved “Boulder Lodge” in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada. She will be remembered for her independence and youthful spirit.
Joy is survived by her sister, Margaret, children, David Kent, Lisa Donnachie (Dave), Deborah Leach (Dave), and grandchildren, Joshua Leach, Jason Leach, Matthew Donnachie, Nathan Kent, Nicole Kent, Jamie Leach and Mitchell Donnachie.
A graveside service for immediate family will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
