Ruth F. Howsberger

Ruth F. Klein Howsberger, 94, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at St. Martha Manor in Downingtown.  She was the beloved wife of the late Louis L. Klein who passed away in 1970 and the late Chet Howsberger who passed away in 1982

Born in Bay City, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Lillian Rosenberg Immerman.

Ruth is a retired school teacher from Michigan who loved to travel and going to the theatre.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence Klein (Sandra), Marsha Phillips (Carolyn), Holly Bradbury (Robert), Thea Becker (Jon) and Ellen Parker (Gary); 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Schwartz.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Line Adult Day Center, 119 Radnor Street, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
