Rose Massimini Marcocci

Rose (Massimini) Marcocci, 100, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Harrison House, Coatesville.

Born in Downingtown, Rose was the daughter of  the late Mauro and Filomena (Scaglioni) Massimini. She was the beloved wife of Frank Marcocci, Sr., who had passed away in 2012.

Rose was a life-long member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Downingtown. She was a member of the church’s Prime Timers Club. Rose had been employed by the Downigntown School District for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and sewing. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her sons: Stephen Marcocci of West Chester, and Carmen P. Marcocci, husband of Betty, of Delaware; grandchildren: Stephanie, Carla, and Christopher; great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Adrianna, Mia, Sidd, Lakshmi, Leela, and Daniel.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rose was preceded in death by her son: Frank J. Marcocci, Jr., husband of Carol, of Downingtown; sisters: Virginia Santori, Assunta Falconi, and Mary Farnum; and brothers: John Massimini, Frank Massimini, Daniel Massimini, and Vincent Massimini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 20 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church at 11 AM. A visitation will be held from 9:45-10:45. Interment will be held privately. It is kindly requested that all guests wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
