Robert E Snyder, of Honey Brook, was called home on Thursday Dec 30th, 2021 At Paoli Hospital.
From South Philadelphia, Robert was the son of Late Robert and Eleanor (Lieb) Snyder. He was the husband of Marlene Marie (Kalbach) Snyder, with whom he spent 51 years of marriage.
So here we go… nicknamed “Hawk” and “Fritz”, He was a surfer (Later becoming friends with Ron Jon), he loved Penn State football and body surfing at the Jersey Shore, attempted a filming of a Mountain Dew commercial, Played a season with the Italian soccer league, spun records with Jerry Blavat, and was on one of Jerrys Album covers, became an engineer traveling the country as a piping designer at numerous power plants, coached soccer, and enjoyed every second of his life! He loved to laugh and make people laugh! He was a true Legend and touched hundreds of lives! He Loved America! He was called Poppy by his grandchildren which whom he adored! Above all, Robert was the greatest father, friend, and husband. As much as he loved this life, he could not pass up an invite to heaven! Jesus added a great man to his army! We love you dad! We could have never asked for more!
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children: Bobby Snyder, husband of Silvana, of Perkiomenville, and Sara Greider, wife of Cliff, of Glenmoore; grandchildren: Hannah, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Dominic; brother: William Snyder.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2021 at 2 PM at Tel Hai Retirement Community- Stonecroft Center for Worship and Performing Arts, 4000 Tree Line Drive, Honey Brook, PA 19344. A Visitation will be held from 12:45-1:45 PM at the Stonecroft Center for Worship and Performing Arts. Due to policies of the facility, all guests in attendance are required to wear face coverings.
