Robert Edward Kacmar, Jr., 57, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was the beloved husband of Sharon Draper Kacmar, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in Cleverly, Maryland, he was the son of Robert Kacmar, Sr. and the late Lulla Bailey Davidge and step son to Ceil Kacmar.

He was currently working as a mixer for Pepperidge Farm Inc, and has worked for them for 33 years.

Bob was an avid sports fanatic, specifically the Dallas Cowboys.  He was an assistant coach for his daughter, Chelsey’s softball team “Riptide Fastpitch” for five years.  He also kept up with statistics from Downingtown East Softball.  Bob followed all high school, college, and professional sports.  If you ever needed information for any sport, this was the guy to ask, if he didn’t already tell you.  Besides softball, he enjoyed playing golf with his brother, Rick, and many friends.

In addition to his wife, father and step-mother, Bob is survived by his children, Chelsey Kacmar, Michelle McDermott and Daniel McDermott; his brothers, Ronald and Richard Kacmar; a sister, Renee Carter; four grandchildren, Keeley, Addison and Teagan McDermott and Graysen McDermott-Cassarini and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to health concerns, services will be private with the family. The service will be live-streamed on Thursday, April 2, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m..  A link will be available on this webpage prior to the services.  A public memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Private burial will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
