Robert C. Holzwarth, 87, of Honey Brook, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Chester County Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Robert was the son of the late Frederick and Lillian (Tyler) Holzwarth. He was the beloved husband of Delores A. (Frost) Holzwarth. The couple shared 57 years of marriage.
Robert earned his B.S. from Drexel University in 1959. He was employed as a Civil Engineer for Chicago Bridge & Iron (Greenville, PA), United Engineers (Philadelphia, PA), Gilbert Associates (Reading, PA), PECO (Philadelphia), and SAIC (Aberdeen, MD). He was a licensed professional engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Robert enjoyed woodworking, home projects, reading, and outdoor activities, such as hiking and bird watching. Robert was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by daughter Lisa A. Holzwarth of Conshohocken, PA, and son, John S. Holzwarth, daughter-in-law, Laura A. Fay, and granddaughter, Sylvia Frost Holzwarth-Fay, of Portland, OR.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, George Holzwarth.
