Robert Walter Erickson II

Robert W. Erickson (Leif), 58, of Downingtown, died peacefully at home on May 13,2020. He was 58.
Leif was born on Oct. 18, 1961 in Chester, PA. He grew up in Woodlyn, PA, and was a graduate of St. James Catholic High School.

Leif was a life-long electrician and a former member of IBEW Local 98. He most recently worked as an Electrical Controls Engineer at NETZSCH Pumps North America.

He loved camping, hiking and taking his motorcycle on long rides. Leif enjoyed spending time in the mountains with his extended family. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Phillies and Eagles.
Leif was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Joseph Parish in Downingtown where he helped with children’s church and the CCD program. He was very excited to see Pope Francis in Philadelphia during the 2015 World Meeting of Families.

Leif was predeceased by his parents, Robert W. Erickson, Sr., in 1970, and Florence Erickson in 2012.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Nick) Davis, of Fort Worth, Texas, two sisters, Patricia Harmon, of Upper Chichester, PA, and Barbara Erickson, of Woodlyn, PA, one brother, Richard Erickson, of Upper Chichester, PA, many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a son, Robert, daughter, Krystal, and grandson, Cash.

A celebration of life Mass will be held in Leif’s honor at a date to be determined. Internment will be private.
