Robert M. Duff was born on May 9th, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH to Sarah Alice Kelly Duff and Colonel Carl L. Duff. He died peacefully, aged 91, on Jun 7th, 2019 in Coatesville, PA.
Bob graduated from Xavier University in 1950, where he pursued his passion for writing as the editor of the newspaper. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a radio and television broadcaster. Afterwards, he pursued a career in motion pictures, including writing, producing, and directing films in Hollywood. When he finished with Hollywood, he dedicated the remainder of his working life to civil service. Upon his retirement, Bob had completed over 30 years of service within the Federal Aviation Administration, the United States Air Force, and the United States Navy. He was an avid traveler and sought knowledge all the days of his life.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Anne H Duff, and their children, Robert S. Duff and Jennifer D. Seidl. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Leah, Alanna, Logan, Alex, and Daniel.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday July 5, 2019 at 10 am from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown where friends may visit from 9 to 9:45 am
