Reinold Thomas Belle III, 36, of Downingtown, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 after a heroic battle against AML at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Tom was the beloved husband of Courtney E. Wary Belle, with whom he shared 9 years of marriage and the father of their three boys, Wyatt, Maddox, and Brody Belle.
Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Tom was the son of Marie Eshem Shannon and Reinold Thomas Belle Jr. In addition to his wife, children and parents, Tom is survived by his paternal grandparents, Sue Gentry Belle and Reinold Thomas Belle, Sr. and his siblings, Joshua Belle, Daniel Shannon, Tyler Belle and Katherine Belle. His Aunt, Kirsten Bernardo who stayed by his side daily, as well as many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,Nieces, and Nephews.
In 2004 Tom and his family settled in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It was then that Tom would meet his high school sweetheart and wife, Courtney.
Tom graduated from Downingtown East High School in 2006 and was a member of the Boys Ice Hockey Team.
Out of high school, Tom went on to serve in the United Stated Air Force and was Honorably Discharged in 2015 as a Senior Airman (SRA). He was so proud to represent his country and had an undeniable love for his wife and children. Tom would always strive to be better than the man he was yesterday, and always held himself accountable, a true role model for his 3 boys to look up to.
Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University, and a Master’s Degree with Honors from American Military University as well as Certificate in Project Management from Pennsylvania State University.
His greatest passion was his family. Tom made sure that he always provided for his family, loved Courtney unconditionally, and taught Wyatt, Maddox, and Brody the definition of being strong-willed boys.
Anyone who knew Tom, knew that he had a smile that was contagious and a laugh that would brighten up a dark room. He loved a good joke, especially “Dad Jokes”, loved to tease his family and friends, but most of all put everyone first before himself. Tom was a Husband, a Father, a Son, an Uncle, and a Friend. He will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
Tom’s time on this earth may have been brief, but the impact he had was profound and everlasting.
Funeral Service to be held at 11AM on December 1, 2023 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1105 East Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341.
Interment will be held privately with the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA, where Tom’s remains will be laid to rest.
A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held from 2PM to 6PM on December 2, 2023 at Cross Gables Estate, 701 Old Valley Road, Exton, PA 19341.
