Perry H. Kachin passed away on Sunday, August 27 at Paoli Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Denise A. (Breslin) Kachin, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Bette Coplin Kachin.
Mr. Kachin was currently working as a salesman for Agis, Inc. in Ambler, Pa.
Perry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed reading the newspaper every morning, traveling to the beach with his family and was an avid fisherman. Most of all, he loved playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Perry is survived by his children, Michael J. (Jenna) Kachin and Laura A. (Gregory) Otto; his sisters, Judith (Lon) Davis and Marla Kachin; and by four grandchildren, Andrew and Emma Kachin and Charlotte and Ethan Otto.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be private with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Line Health Hospice, 240 N. Radnor Chester Road, Suite 100, Radnor, Pa. 19087.
