Paul J. Materi

Paul J. Materi, 71, of Downingtown, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was the son of the late Joseph and Elinor Materi (nee Porter).

Paul was a loving father with a passion for all things Corvette, Harley Davidson, and Dallas Cowboys (even though he lived in the Philadelphia region his whole life.) He enjoyed spending time down in Ocean City, MD out on the water in his boat.

He was no stranger to rebuilding Corvette’s and instilled that same passion in his son. Paul worked in the heavy truck equipment industry for most of his life, and was most recently employed at Brian Hoskins Ford. He had plans to soon retire and move down to Florida.

Paul is survived by his children, Michael and Laura Materi and many friends.

Services for Paul will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown PA, 19335. Friends are welcome to pay their respects from 2:30 – 3:45pm. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm.
