Patricia Ann Heffernan

Patricia A. Heffernan, 60, of Coatesville, PA passed away peacefully at Penn Medicine Hospice in West Chester, PA on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 surrounded by family.

Patricia, Patti, was born in Philadelphia on August 13, 1959 as our Special Angel from God. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (nee Rayer) Heffernan.

She graduated from Our Lady of Confidence in Philadelphia. After moving to Chester County she moved into her Brian’s House group home and began working at Handi-Crafters in Coatesville. Patti touch so many lives. Throughout her life she loved to do word searches, latch hook, dance, color, play bingo (just needed 1 more number), and be with family.

Patti is the beloved sister to Kathleen Sowden (Edward); loving Aunt to Carol Trego (Tim), Diane Perrone (James), Joseph DiPierro (Sonia), Robert DiPierro (Melissa), and Great Aunt to Michael DiPierro, Joseph DiPierro, Maria DiPierro, and Graham DiPierro; and honorary family members Michelle Walsky, Betsy Fowler, Patty, Colleen, and Cathy. She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward and James.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to her visitation 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2019 at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. On Monday, October 7, 2019 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:45 AM, at St Joseph Catholic Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, where family and friends will be received from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
