Patricia Ann (Hanley) Angeline, 78, of Endicott, New York, passed away on November 4, 2017 at Paoli Hospital, in Paoli, Pennsylvania. She is predeceased by her parents Loftus and Grace Hanley. She is survived by her loving husband, Francis J. Angeline, with whom she shared fifty-seven years of marriage, three children and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Kathleen, Laurence, and Vaun. She took great joy in her grandchildren: Ryley, Cary, Jessica, Andre, Anton, Chloe, and Chelsea. She also had eleven nieces and nephews, and four brothers, Michael Hanley, Edward Hanley, George Hanley, Jerome Hanley, and a sister, Mary Hanley. The oldest of the six, her siblings agree that she was definitely suited for the top spot, the shield and the enforcer.  Every one of her brothers and sister appreciated her beauty, humor, talent, protection, and swift retribution when they were out of line.  Throughout life, Patricia was creative in every way—from her delicious cuisine, served with the artistry of a fine chef—to her brilliant artwork. Rarely did a napkin sit in her presence without Pat transforming it into a masterful sketch, worthy of a frame. Her home was a museum, graced with her artwork, her attic a treasure chest of sketches from her days at Buffalo State and SUNY Binghamton where she studied art. Her pride, though, was in her children’s talents, and she embarrassed every one of them--it was fitting for a mother who loved them as much as she did.
Visitation takes place Friday, November 10 at 10:30-11:15 a.m. The service follows at 11:30 a.m. at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Fran and Pat Angeline Award that provides a yearly grant to a deserving UE football player for his college studies.
