Norman Wesley Pannebaker, Jr., 82, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Simpson Meadows in Downingtown. He was the beloved husband of Harriet “Cookie” Seibert Pannebaker, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Born on July 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Norman W. Pannebaker, Sr. and Lydia Catherine Skiles Pannebaker.
Wes was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Downingtown, a lifetime member of Alert Fire Company and Freemason of the Williamson Lodge No. 309. He was an avid outdoorsman, Philadelphia Eagles fan, and loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Cookie, he is survived by his son, Wesley Charles Pannebaker (Dawn); his daughter, Ellen C. Eckman (David); a sister, Helen Carr (Hayes); five grandchildren, Alyssa Tischbein (Andrew), Mallory Gorr (Chase), Jack, Neil and Emma Eckman; and by two great grandchildren, James and Sadie Tischbein.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Central Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Uwchlan Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m.
Interment will be private with the family.
