Nicholas James Berardi

It is with great sadness we announce that Nicholas James Berardi, 39, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2020 at Paoli Hospital due to an undiagnosed heart condition.

Born January 11, 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee, Nick was the son of Charles Berardi and Joanne Berardi (Meserole). In addition to his parents, Nicholas is survived by his brother Christopher Berardi, sister Kimberly Berardi, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 

Nick had a special love for fishing, the outdoors, Philadelphia sports, and had recently caught the travel bug, going on trips to Ireland, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. He loved his job at Devereux working for Metz Culinary Management. Nick had recently expressed a desire to take culinary classes to improve his skills, following in the footsteps of his parents and siblings. He was an eternal optimist and had never been happier or healthier. Nick was a friend to everyone who met him and had a gift for making all those who crossed his path smile.
 

Everyone who met Nick will attest to the unforgettable impact he had on their lives. They will remember his infectious laugh, boundless energy, and good-hearted nature. He was a gentle soul that had a selfless desire to please everyone around him, with no expectations in return. Nick was a social butterfly with a memorable smile and loved to give more than receive. He cherished his relationships with family and friends and had a unique quality of keeping in touch with his childhood friends, extended family, and co-workers, among many others. He loved nothing more than to be around his family. His positive attitude and loving personality shined through his heart of gold. He will be deeply missed.
 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Nick’s birthday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 338 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. A visitation will be held prior at the church from 9:00AM to 10:45AM.

Please bring a photo and/or written memory of Nick during the visitation. The family wishes to compile these contributions into an album in remembrance of Nick.
