Mildred H. Butler, 85, of Downingtown, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.
She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Butler, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2004.
Born in Wheaton Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Gertrude J. Wageman Schussler. Mildred was a member of the Newcomers Club of Chester County and also The Golden Greats of Saint Basil Church.
Mildred is survived and missed by her children, Michael J. Butler, Cynthia A. Butler, Timothy P. Butler (LaVerne), Sharon M. Kuhn (Hans), and Daniel E. Butler ( Stephanie).
She was also the loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren; Annie and Kathryn Meyers, Bethany, Neil, Julia, Ally, Evan, Celeste and Emma Butler, and Reilly, Bergen and Sarah Kuhn. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia L. Meyers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Saint Basil the Great Church 2330 Kimberton Rd, Kimberton, PA 19442, where family and friends will be received from 12:30- 1:45 p.m.
Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Downingtown.
