Michael Schwika

Michael Schwika, 59, of Quakertown, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Quakertown Hospital.  

Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Gregory and Elizabeth M. Durishin Schwika.

Mike was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia, listen to music, writing and watching Star Wars.  He also considered himself a “professional” Play Station 4 player.  Most of all, he adored his niece and nephew.

He is survived by his loving sister, Janine M. Sgro and her husband Sam; his niece, Jessica A. Sgro; his nephew, Jason M. Sgro and by a host of cousins.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, Pa 19335 where family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 am.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bucks County Association For Retarded Citizens Inc.
