Tribute

Max Hunter Taylor, 31, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was married to his soulmate and best friend, Shauna Taylor. They would have celebrated their 2nd year anniversary this September.

Born in Bryn Mawr on August 6, 1990, he was the son of Leslie Roberts and Richard Taylor. Following high school, Max worked as a general contractor and in later years, landscape design and horticulture. Max absolutely loved plants and the outdoors. Max’s love of the outdoors included fishing – his absolute favorite. Shauna can remember some of the best memories they had were ones of them fishing.

Max’s other love was music. It was everything to him. He found the beauty in all of it. Shauna loved how he knew every song that came on the radio, and not too many people know that he actually had a really good singing voice. His wife can’t not mention his affection for animals. They were all drawn to his kindred spirit. Max never met an animal that didn’t love him. He adored his dog Odin and his cat Masha, as they equally adored him.

Max had no greater love than he did for his wife, mother and daughters. He was a wonderful husband and life partner, and Shauna and Max were always meant to be. His proudest day was the day they were married, their wedding officiated by his mother, Leslie. You can’t speak of Max and not mention his giving heart. He was the one to give you the shirt off his back, the last dollar in his pocket, or the shoes off his feet. There was no one more giving or self-less than Max.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his two daughters – Aubrey and Brooklyn.

A celebration of Max’s life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 5 PM at West Goshen Fire Hall, 1320 Park Avenue, West Chester, PA 19380.
