Maryann Falin

MaryAnn Falin (Martin) of Downingtown passed peacefully on Saturday June 1st 2019, surrounded by loving family.

Maryann was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, in Moylan Pa.

She began her career as an Executive Secretary for General Electric, she eventually moved into finance and compliance and retired at Hirtle Callaghan & Co.

Maryann was married to her husband Bob, for over 54 years. They were the it couple. A modern-day Barbie and Ken. On the arm of her love, she enjoyed dinners, music, dancing and worshiping the Lord.  

They attended St. Elizabeth Parish in Chester Springs for many years.

Maryann had three children, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was known to her family, as Puma. A nickname given to her by her eldest grandson. She was loved and adored by each and every one of them. Her family was a large part of her life. She was always hosting events, where she loved sharing her attempts and accomplishments at gourmet cooking with her family and friends.  

She loved Elvis and the Jersey Boys. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the shore, trips to the theater and exposing them to as much culture as she could. She was an avid QVC shopper – keeping them in business for the last few decades – I’m sure!

MaryAnn was fabulous. So refined. Calm and classy. Poised and caring. And above all one lovely lady. Her presence of grace and elegance will be missed, every day, by those who loved her. She was truly one of a kind. On earth, there wasn’t a single day where Puma was not dressed to the nines as though she was ready to meet the good Lord himself and we are sure that that is true of her heavenly self, as she is with Him now; hair done, nails did. She is well and she is home.

MaryAnn is survived by her beloved husband Robert Falin of Downingtown. Three children; Colleen (Falin) and husband Darryl Bull of Downingtown; Donna (Falin, Moran) and husband Gene Weaver of Reinholds; and Robert Falin and wife Roshani (Herath) of Schwenksville. Fifteen Grandchildren, Rhett, Jared, Josiah, Asa, Faith and Glory Bull; Ryan, Brandi, Brad (Weaver), Falin, Chandler, and Hope Grace Moran; Cole, Ella and Connor Falin. Eight great-grandchildren, Tristan, Kaiden, Ariah, Colin, Liam, Killian, Kohen and RaeLynn Sky. And a handful of outlaws; Ruwani, Morgan B., Reeba, Morgan M., Jared, Brian and John.

MaryAnn's memorial service will beginning promptly at 1pm, no viewing will be held Friday, June 7th at the James Terry Funeral Home in Downingtown.
