Mary Ann Spellman

Mary Ann Spellman, 92, of Chester Springs, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Paoli Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Spellman, Jr., with whom she shared 26 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1976.

Born in Media, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna Hooper Thomas.

Mary Ann grew up working on a farm and babysat for dozens of families.  She loved riding horses and her dogs Fraulein and Cody.  She was a Country Music enthusiast especially Johnny Cash music.  She was a devout Christian, following Billy Graham and spreading God’s love in her daily routine.  Mary Ann enjoyed going to Lancaster and her weekly trips to Shady Maple.

She is survived by her three children, Gary Spellman, Cathy Falconio and her husband John, and Ronald Spellman; a brother, Albert Thomas; four grandchildren, John Frank Falconio, Zachary, Michelle, and Jessaca Spellman; and by eight great grandchildren, Melody, Olivia, Lucy, Charlotte Mary, John, Scarlette, Jack and Owen.

She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.

Services will be held privately with the family.
