Mary E. Tracey, 71, of East Fallowfield, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Tracey, with whom she shared 20 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2016.
Born in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Clyde F. Bertram and Yvonne Madore Bertram.
Mary worked for Communications Test Design Incorporated (CTDI) in West Chester for 27 years before retiring as Turn Around Coordinator in 2013. After her retirement, she stayed active with CTDI, volunteering for their many charities. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, crocheting, was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed taking trips to Delaware Park Casino. Mary was an extremely funny woman and she loved making people laugh, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children, Denise M. Cavuto and her husband Matthew of Coatesville, Herb C. Griffith and his wife Mary-Lyn of Winnipeg Canada and Rachel L. Tracey-Evans of Coatesville; a brother, Clyde Bertram Jr. of Harrisburg; a sister, Yvonne Danzeisen of Downingtown and by five grandchildren, Chasen Cavuto, Jaida Griffith, P.J. Evans and his fiancé Kayla Miller, Tim West and Kate-Lyn Orillion and her husband Steve.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by two sisters, Diane Lambert and Lucille Luminella.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Highway, COATESVILLE, where family and friends will be received from 9-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be held in Religious Society of Friends Cemetery, 800 Doe Run Road, East Fallowfield.
