Mary R. Timmins

Mary R. Timmins, age 92, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the Hickory House Nursing Home & Rehab.

Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Charles Riehm Jr. and Verna (nee Burchill) Riehm.

Mary worked at Sun Oil Co. for a short time. She enjoyed being with her family and has left a lasting legacy of love. She had a deep relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which impacted the lives of her family and friends, as she was a fierce prayer warrior.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Timmins, brothers Russel Riehm and John Riehm, and grandson Joshua Timmins.

Mary is survived and missed by her son Peter R. Timmins (wife Karen), daughter Beth (husband Dana) Beach, 9 grandchildren; Nathan Laing (Annie), Carrie Laing, Sarah Timmins, Jenny Romero (Jonel), Melissa McDonald (Alex), Chad Brown (Keagan), Justin Beach, Darren Beach (Rebecca), Ryan Beach (Denise), as well as Rick Snurkowski, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church in Downingtown.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s funeral service on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 10:30AM, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, where friends and family will be received from 9:00AM-10:15AM. Burial will follow to Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
