Mary L. Schwer, 89, of Downingtown, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side.

Mary was a buyer of fashions for several retail clothing stores for many years. She was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church in Downingtown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her Church activities, cooking, reading, gardening and golf.

She is survived by her children. Debra A., John E. (Jessie), Evan T., and Timothy D. Schwer; grandchildren, Alex, Erica, Samantha, Sara, Tyler, Emily and Melanie Schwer; and great-grandchildren, Kaden and Leighton.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynne S. Hunyady, daughter-in-law, Marianne C. Schwer and granddaughter, Molly Schwer.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 11 am at Faith Community Baptist Church,1585 Glenside Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335, where friends may visit from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
