Mary Louise Basehore

Mary Louise Basehore, 87, of Downingtown, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Paoli Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Glenn Basehore, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage and the late William N. Chalfant. 

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Clara Mae Horner Jackman. 

Mary Lou was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Whitford Country Club and was a former Deacon at Grace Covenant Church. Mary Lou also volunteered her time helping others at Paoli Hospital.

In addition to her husband Glenn, Mary Lou is survived by her children, William N. Chalfant, Jr. and Sally Ann Manley; step-children, Thomas L., Terry R., and Marcia L. Basehore; eight grandchildren, Paul and David Manley, Jonathan and Andrew Chalfant, Thomas, Kyle and Griffith Basehore and Millicent Moessner.

A Memorial service for Mary Lou will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Grace Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 444 Creamery Way, Exton, PA 19341.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Lou's honor may be made to  Grace Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 444 Creamery Way, Exton, PA 19341.
