Martha L. Hinton Legg

Martha Hinton Legg, 84, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Harrison House, a Personal Care Home in Coatesville.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul P. Legg, Jr., with whom she shared 22 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2012.

Born in Florence, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Hinton and May Blair Hinton.

Martha graduated with a degree in Pharmacy and served her community as a pharmacist her entire life.  Before a decline in health Martha enjoyed Solitaire, bingo, reading and old Matlock episodes.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Brandmier and her husband Kenneth, Melinda Harden and her husband Eric; and by three grandchildren, Aria Brandmier, Cameron Hardin and Emma Hardin.  She also leaves behind several extended family members.

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was predeceased by her brother, Melvin C. Hinton and by her son, Mark Adkins.

Martha will be laid to rest in Virginia where she had lived most of her life.  A Private service for family only will be held at time of burial.

A very special thanks is extended to the staff at Harrison House in Coatesville, where she spent her last years.
