Lynn B. Vohringer

Lynn (Mom-mom) “B” Vohringer, age 76, of Elverson and formerly of Downingtown, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.  Lynn was born on October 12, 1946 in Runnemede, New Jersey, to the late Thomas Benton and Jean (Winters) Benton. She graduated from Downingtown High School as part of the class of 1965.

Lynn was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Charles Vohringer, in 2006; and by her brother, Thomas Benton, III, in 2007.

Lynn’s blessed survivors include her son, Charles “Chuck” Vohringer, Jr., of Honey Brook; her daughter Cindy Delaney and her husband, Ryan, of Millsboro, Delaware; her daughter Cathy Beck and her husband, Aaron, of Camp Hill; her five grandchildren, Charles Vohringer, Kelsey Delaney, Emma Delaney, Kate Beck, and Jason Beck; her sister, Donna Irey and her husband, Roger, of Glenmore; and six nieces and nephews.

Lynn was a kind, generous, outgoing person who loved to read, play board and card games with family and friends, and talk about her grandchildren. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Lynn touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

All are welcome to join Lynn’s family for a remembrance on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m., at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Cremation was private.
