Luke B. Taylor

Luke B. Taylor, 38, of West Chester, passed away suddenly on Sunday September 6th, 2020 at his home.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of Mary “Dee” Larkin Taylor and the late LaVerne “L.B.” Taylor.

Throughout his life Luke was very passionate about his family and friends. He was a gentle soul with a smile and laugh that could light up a room. At an early age Luke found a love for sports, especially baseball as a talented pitcher. He loved music, going to concerts, and all things outdoors and being in nature. He recently discovered a passion for fishing and kayaking where he spent his time relaxing and learning patience while enjoying life with those he loved.

In addition to his mother, Luke is survived by his fiancé Anna Bailey; his brother, Travis Taylor (Stephanie Woodward); his niece, Elliana G. Taylor; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

An indoor visitation will be held from 9:00-10:45 a.m., Saturday, September 26th, 2020 followed by an outdoor service at 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. All guests are required to wear a mask as well as maintain social distance.

In case of inclement weather, the service will then be held privately indoors and will be live streamed for the guest. The public visitation will still take place.

Interment services will be private.
