Louise Ellen Agnes Patterson

Louise Ellen Agnes Patterson, 79, of Exton, formerly of Allentown and Zionsville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at her home.  She was the beloved wife of Barry L Patterson with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.  She was the daughter of the late Leo and Margaret Diehl Bateman.  

Louise was a selfless caretaker, a friend to everyone, and she always put the needs of others ahead of herself.  Her positive attitude and deep wisdom drew people close to her in times of need; Louise was loved by many.

Early in her marriage, Louise worked as an elementary school teacher.  She then stayed home to raise her children.  Throughout their lives together, Barry and Louise travelled all over the world and loved their adventures.  However, one of her favorite experiences was spending time with her family in Ocean City, Maryland every year.   

Louise loved her family unconditionally.  In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her daughter Christine Izard and husband David Izard, and by her son David Patterson and wife Tracy Griffin.  Louise is also survived by six wonderful grandchildren who she adored: Connor, Matthew, Evan, Josh, Sophie and Riley. She will be deeply missed.
