Alan - I am so sorry to learn of Lorraine's passing. Having recently renewed our friendship, I was hoping for Beverly and I to get together with you two. Time will heal your hurt and you will have many fond memories to comfort you in the years to come.

Dearest Alan,
How surprised and saddened we are to learn of our sweet Lorraine's passing on Saturday, Sept. 2nd in an obituary today in The Philadelphia Inquirer. What a treasure she was, and we both feel so blessed to have enjoyed her deep and abiding friendship over these past forty-plus years! Our heart aches for you and is heavy for all of us who loved her. She will be sorely missed.. We send our sympathy to the Benedetto and Schenkel families for the loss of their sister and aunt. Lorraine was a great lady and great friend!
