Linda Kipp, 87, of Coatesville, passed away at Phoenixville Hospital on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She was the childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of William “Bill” Kipp with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Born in Curtisville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lucy and Marion Checca. Linda was also pre-deceased by her sister and brother- In- law, Rose and Francis Murray and her much loved grandson, Matthew Kipp. In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Zedra) Kipp, her daughter, Cathy Kipp (Paul) Zanowski and grandchildren, Brandie (Craig) Cline, Jennifer Kipp, William Andrew “Andy” (Candy) Kipp, Nicholas Zanowski and Katherine Rose Zanowski. She is also survived by two great grandsons, Wyatt Kipp and Chance Kipp.

Linda worked as a librarian at Delaware County Community College for over 20 years. She served as Past President of the Brandywine Hospital Thrift Shop as well as volunteering for many years. Linda was a member of the Marshalltown United Methodist Church for 50 years and served on many committees there as well. She lived for her family and her greatest joy was cooking large family dinners and creating special Christmas celebrations.

A visitation will be held from 5 -7 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.  A second visitation will be held from 9-10 am Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1282 W. Strasburg Rd., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by the funeral service.
