Larry Bruce Ferguson, 71, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Paoli Hospital.

Born in Baltimore, MD,  Larry was the son of the late Quinten and Arkie (Purkey) Ferguson.

Larry grew up in Ellicott City, Howard County, graduating from Glenelg High School and Towson State University. He served in the Naval Reserves during the Vietnam War. Larry worked in sales most of his life, helping customers pick out and purchase furniture, appliances, and most recently flooring. He loved talking to his customers and getting to know them and their needs. Larry also loved his family! He enjoyed helping his daughter with her garden, preparing the soil, planting, and weeding. He enjoyed spending time with each of his grandchildren. Larry was a kind, patient, helpful man, who never complained or spoke poorly about anyone. He was quiet and lived simply, not needing much to be content. He found his joy in people, listening to them, helping them, and loving them.  

Larry is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Culp, wife of Jordan, of Glenmoore; siblings: Janet Buige and Stanley Ferguson; grandchildren: Amelia, Charlie, Adelaide, Henry, and Nate.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister: Carolyn Ferguson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2021 at 11 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30-10:45 AM. Interment will be conducted privately.
