Josephine R. Bruno

            Josephine R. Bruno, 86, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Pocopson Home.

            Born in West Chester on March 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. Bruno, Sr. and Tommasina (Porco) Bruno. In her high school years, Josephine excelled as an athlete, playing several sports. She worked as an Operator for Bell Telephone, and as a Rate Clerk for Chemical Lehman Tank Lines, from which she retired. Prior to Pocopson Home, Josephine was a resident at Mary Taylor House for 10 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, card games and was a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.

            Surviving is her brother Frank A. Bruno, Jr. and his wife Ginger, of Glenmoore, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Bruno, Henry Bruno, Victor Bruno and sister Mary Kiley.

            Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
