Josephine Frances Booth

Josephine Frances Booth, 87, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, PA.  She was the beloved wife of William Dale Booth, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in Sea Cliff, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Petrina Vaccaro Behrens.

Josephine enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, and was an avid bowler.  She loved sports, was a Chicago Cubs fan, and was the biggest supporter of her grandchildren. She volunteered as a cheerleader advisor for Liberty High School for many years. Josephine also served as the District Representative for the P.T.A. in Liberty, PA. Josephine was fond of travelling, had the opportunity to visit Hawaii and Alaska in previous years.

In addition to her husband, Josephine is survived by her children, Christopher J. Booth, Denise M. Roupp, and Kerri D. Verna (Michael); a brother, Edward Behrens (Virginia); and by three grandchildren, Morgan Blackwell, Jacob Verna and Christopher Verna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA.  Family and friends will be received from 10:00-10:45 a.m. in the church.

Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
