Joseph D. DiObilda

Joseph (Joe) D. DiObilda, 76, of Coatesville, passed away on July 29th 2022 at Paoli Hospital.

Joe was born on November 8th 1945 in Coatesville Pa. to Joseph D. DiObilda and Teresa Perella DiObilda. Joe lived in the Coatesville area all his life. 

Joe leaves behind his-wife Paula Lowry DiObilda. The couple just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on July 24th 2022.

In addition to his wife, Joe leaves behind a daughter: Donna DiObilda DiFelice and her husband Alan DiFelice of Chadds Ford; grandson: Matthew of Chadds Ford; granddaughters: Amanda Nicole wife of Christopher Baker of Parkesburg, and Kristin Michelle, fiancé of Jesse Heninger of Philadelphia Pa.; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Rose, Christopher Sean and Gabriella Marie; sisters Rosemarie Woodward of Downingtown and Ann Thomas of Quarryville; many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his son Joseph Sean DiObilda in 2006, sister Jean Newlin of Quarryville Pa. and sister Geraldine Sturgill of Cochranville Pa.

Joe worked in the construction trade for 30 years, and was able to retire at the age of 55. Instead of just sitting around, he went into the commercial cleaning business and retired 3 years ago.

Joe's favorite pastime was playing golf at Flying Hills with his best buddies. He started playing golf in high school and would caddie at the Coatesville Country Club. He never lost his passion for the game, and spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Hwy., COATESVILLE from 9:45-10:45 AM. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home.
