John “Jack” Knaff Jr., age 82, of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the St. Martha Manor Center. Jack was born in Philadelphia, Pa to the late John J. and Agnes Knaff.

Jack graduated from Springfield High School in 1953 and then received his BS from the Pennsylvania State University in 1957 where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.  Jack served as a Senior Vice President for First Pennsylvania Bank for many years and belonged to a few organizations over the years, such as; the Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, and the JCC. In his spare time, Jack loved boating, and was a member of the West End Boat Club of Essington and the Surf City, NJ Yacht Club. 

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Janet R. Knaff and his daughter-in-law Kay Soike Knaff. 

Jack is survived by his 3 children; Christopher Knaff (Kim), Kimberly L. Taylor (Dwyn), John Knaff,  7 grandchildren and his sister Barbara Knaff Whitlock. 

A Memorial Mass was held for Jack on Friday, October 27, at 9:30AM, at the St. Martha Manor Chapel, Downingtown, PA. The burial was private.
