John Brian Frock died peacefully on Saturday November 18, 2017 surrounded by loving family.  John left his hometown of Sayre, Pennsylvania for Villanova University, where he earned both bachelor’s and law degrees.  Law school was interrupted by the draft, and John spent two years, courtesy of Uncle Sam, at Fort Dix, honing his woodworking skills in off hours.

A seasoned trial attorney, John took his clients and their causes to heart, through the good and the bad.  He supported the Chester County Bar Association by overseeing the first renovation of the current bar association building, followed by serving as President of the CCBA.  A man of many talents, John made beautiful furniture for his home and his children, and was a licensed grower of a lovely variety of trees and shrubs.

John is survived by his wife, Jane Shields, his daughters Michelle Parlaman (husband William), Amie Williams (husband Jason) and Darlene Potts (husband Keith), stepdaughter Rebecca Shields Moose, stepson Robert Shields Moose (wife Amy Batzell) and his brother, Richard Frock (wife Nancy).
A visitation for John will take place Tuesday evening November 21st from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 9 to 11 am at the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown.
Funeral services and interment will be private
