Janet Marie MacKenzie, 79, passed away in the early morning hours of November 7, 2020 at Paoli Hospital. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts to the late Thomas J. and Helen E. McGah. Janet was the loving wife of Claude G. MacKenzie with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Janet’s Catholic Faith was her guiding light and it led her to be very active in her church where she attended chapel on a weekly basis and volunteered for various programs including fund raising and cooking for church events. She loved shopping with her girls, doing word puzzles, gardening, watching the Phillies with Dad, and getting together with her card club. Janet also worked at various businesses early in life but eventually left the workforce to raise her three children and build a home where family and friends always felt welcome. Janet is survived by her husband Claude along with her children Denise Bommelyn and her husband Jeff, Susan Gentile and her husband Brian, and Scott MacKenzie and his wife Debbie.

Janet is also survived by her two brothers Thomas McGah husband to Liisa McGah, John McGah husband to Helen King McGah, and sister-in-law Elaine MacKenzie. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by her grandson Brandon Bommelyn, her mother-in-law Catharine MacKenzie, brother-in-law William MacKenzie, brother-in-law John MacKenzie, and sister-in-law Francis MacKenzie.
