James Michael Morrison

James Michael Morrison, 67, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Temple University Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Diane M. Tamburro Morrison, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia on February 16, 1952, he was the son of James William Morrison and Joan Lyon Gibson Morrison.  

He graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1970 and then from Eastern College in 1974.

Mike was a kitchen and bath designer in West Chester, PA.. He was also an author and keynote speaker of local history, and was extremely involved in local historical societies.

In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his sister Patricia Volpi and her husband Paul; his nieces, Kelly and Jenna Volpi and his cousins, Leslie Sargent and Susan Morrison.

Interment will be private with the family.
