James L. Currier Jr., of West Chester, passed away peacefully the afternoon of Sunday, April 7, 2019. He was the loving husband of 17 years to Dawn Currier (nee. Liney).
Known as Jim to his friends, he is remembered as a kind, respectful man who loved to have fun with his family. Jim was devoted to his family, from supporting his children with their extra-curricular swimming, basketball, baseball, softball and martial arts; Jim and Dawn were both number one fans.
The highlight of the year was their annual vacation to the Outer Banks. He was always ready to hop on his Harley with Dawn and go for a ride, whether it be for pleasure or the many charity events they participated in.
Jim was a big fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, and always kept up with March Madness and Fantasy Football and Baseball Pools. He also enjoyed playing sports and was skilled in woodworking. Jim also enjoyed many different kinds of music; from Johnny Cash to Billy Idol, Cheap Trick, Kid Rock, KISS, and Van Halen, to name a few.
Jim was also a loyal and hardworking employee for Bob Wagner’s Flooring America in Downingtown, PA for almost 17 years.
In addition to his wife, Dawn, James is survived by his children & his parents in Spokane, WA.
Services for James/Jim will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:00am at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown PA, 19335 with a viewing prior from 9:45am – 10:45am.
