Irene Sandoski Brown, 90, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Einstein Medical Center, Montgomery. Born on February 21, 1931, to the late Suzanna (Fesak) and Julius Sandoski. She grew up in Coatesville with six siblings. Irene graduated from Scott High School in 1947 and was employed as a secretary. After her children were older, she worked at Diversified Printing Co./ Quebecor Printing in Atglen for many years, until her retirement.
Irene was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Parish in Parkesburg for fifty years, where she was an active member of the Ladies Sodality. She was a resident of Ashbridge Manor in Downingtown for five years, and most recently resided in Arbor Square in Harleysville.
Irene was preceded om death by her husband of 47 years, William G. Brown and her grandson, Vincent J. Guiseppe. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Irene is survived by her four children: Karen Corey (John), Mary Beth Guiseppe, Timothy J. Brown (Toni Lynn McKernan), and Thomas M. Brown (Donna Pane); twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Irene enjoyed spending time with her family, and taking vacations with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid card and bingo player, enjoyed reading books and watching the Phillies, taking trips to the beach, and loved visiting the casinos with friends, where she was generally fairly lucky at the slot machines.
An evening viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.
A morning viewing will be held from 9:00-9:45 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown, Pa followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. all in the upper church.
Interment will be in St. Malachi Cemetery, Cochranville, Pa.
