With apologies to Henry Van Dyke!
I was on a delightful journey for over fifty years with Hetsy, and as we got to the shore she kept going and left me behind. She gradually got so far away I could no longer see her.
On the other shore stood Jesus with his arms outstretched and a smile on his face and said: “Welcome, I have been waiting for you and I will keep you forever.”
