Harry L. Hallermeier, 89, of Thorndale, PA, passed away on October 2, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving daughters.
Harry was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Elizabeth Hallermeier. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Robert.
Harry served honorably in the Army, during the Korean War. Following his return from the military, Harry worked for Campbell Soup and Pepperidge Farm Company as an accountant for over 35 years.
Harry was known to his family as the handyman and “Mr. Fix It”. In a labor of love, he constructed an intricate dollhouse for his granddaughter's to enjoy. There was no project he couldn’t accomplish. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, taking care of his home, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie R. Hallermeier, who passed away in 2009.Harry and his wife, Rosemarie, shared 54 years,9 months and 4 days of marriage while they raised three daughters together.
Harry was the loving father to three daughters; Rose Hallermeier, Renee (James III) Martin, and Aimee Ent, and grandfather to Melanie and Valerie Ent.
Relatives and friends are invited to Harry’s funeral services on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 11am, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, visitation will be 9:30am-11am. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
