Harold Franklin Gibson

Harold Franklin Gibson, son of Paul Lewis Gibson and Ada Marian Ely Gibson passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

Harold was born, raised and schooled in Philadelphia and joined the Navy when he graduated from high school.  He attended Navy school and became a guided missile technician, serving 4 years.  At the age of 19 he met and married Linda Lou Halls. Following his service he went to work for the Burroughs Corporation as an electronic technician.  Harold attended classes at Villanova University.  At the time of retirement, he was a Senior Design Engineer for the Unisis Corporation.  Harold enjoyed retirement and family and will always be remembered as a loving and supportive handy “fix-it” man.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Halls Gibson and son, Mark Franklin Gibson; Mark’s children, Anthony Gibson, Kevin Gibson, Misty Gibson Harrington and Rachel Gibson Johnson.  Harold’s daughter, Deana Gibson, her daughter, Jessica Marie Gibson, her children, Landon Loftland and Jasmine Jimenez, Deana’s sons, Jason Blake Gibson and Justin Andrew Gibson.  Harrington great grandchildren, Oliver, Grayson, Adelaide and Malayna; and Johnson great grandchildren, Braxton, Zeeva and Violett.

Services will be held privately.
