Gloria Jean DeLoggio

Gloria Jean DeLoggio, age 78, of Oxford, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 2, 2018. Gloria was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Theodore and Jean (Tierney) DeLoggio.

Gloria was an extremely talented visual artist who enjoyed drawing, painting, and sculpting. Throughout her life, she shared the gift of music with her family as an accomplished pianist. In addition to being a creative and passionate artist, Gloria held a strong faith in her spirituality. She was also a lover of animals, especially her cats.

Gloria is survived and missed by her son Steven (Dawn) Shumoski, daughter Donna (Jeff) Gaskill, , and 2 granddaughters, Tatianna and Annastasia Shumoski. Funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Gloria’s memory can be made to the Cat Angel Network (catangel.org/meow/donate), an organization in Chester and Montgomery Counties dedicated to improving the situation of unwanted and abandoned cats in the community, and the St. Francis De Sales School of Philadelphia, 917 S 47th St, Philadelphia, PA 19143, whose mission is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, while recognizing His Presence in every child, parent, and teacher.
