Franklin Delano "Junior" Barry Sr.

Franklin D. Barry, Sr., 84, of West Chester, Pa (also affectionately known as Junior/Uncle Junior) to his family, passed away with family by his side on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA.

Born in West Chester, Frank was the son of the late Stephen and Anna (Mumink) Barry.  He was the husband of the late Carole (Domsohn) Barry who passed away in 2014.

Frank spent his early years running his parents farm.  He ran the farm and the dairy, while also running his trash disposal business.  After retiring, he took on a job at Main Line Concrete where he not only enjoyed driving truck, but made many friends while working there.  He enjoyed family time with his own family and his many in-laws who he shared lots of good times with.  Frank had a passion for horse racing and the casino.  He loved picking a winner or two at the track and was quite the player when it came to Blackjack. All the friends he made at Delaware Park made him very happy.  He loved being social and had a special sense of humor, that always brought a smile.

Franklin is survived by his children: Deborah Harlan of Coatesville, Franklin Barry, Jr., husband of Sue, of West Chester, Lisa Aurillo, wife of Gary, of West Chester, and Kelly Quinn, companion of Carl Buchanan, of West Grove. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lindsey Legnini (Dave), Olivia, Gary James, Austin, Ryan, Kevin Franklin, Henry, Ezra, Michael, Meghan, and Nicole; great-grandson David.

Franklin was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
