Florence F. McKeever

Florence F. McKeever, 79, of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Thomas C. McKeever, with who she shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in Downingtown, she was the daughter of the late Chester G. and Jessie M. Carnes Smith.

Florence enjoyed sailing, riding as a motorcycle passenger, camping and wintering in Florida.  She retired as a cafeteria manager for Downingtown School District, and then worked in food service for Landhope Farms Stores for many years.   
 
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Gordon W.; Smith; sisters, Mable Haines, Jean Manning (Ken), Esther Wuertz and Linda Behrndt; three grandchildren, Michael McKeever, Amanda McKeever and Stacey Sellers and by two great grandchildren, Kierra Willet and Makayla Sellers.  Florence was predeceased by her two children, Thomas R. and Andrea L. McKeever; three brothers, John W., Chester G. Jr. and Roy N. Smith and by a sister, Minnie Van Lew.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Glenmoore United Methodist Church, 1920 Creek Road, Glenmoore.
