Ernest Charles Cozzone Jr.

Ernest Charles Cozzone Jr., 71, oldest child of the late Ernest and Freida Cozzone, passed away on November 11th, surrounded by family, after a brief illness. 

Ernie grew up in Guthriesville, PA and never ventured much further.  He worked as a retail manager at Croppers in Guthriesville, as a chemical operator at Pierce & Stevens in Kimberton, and retired from Kim Manufacturing in Downingtown in 2014.

Ernie loved collecting and selling coins, classic cars, winning Texas hold 'em tournaments and spending time with his family.  While he never had children of his own, he loved his many nieces and nephews, and adored his great nieces and nephews.

Ernie is survived by sisters Debi (Bill Kirkner), Jackie (Jim Horrex), and Denise (Todd Donovan) and brother Glenn (Beth); along with his 6 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 19th from 3-4 PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society. You may Click Here to make a memorial contribution.
